These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of aaka.tech and any services provided by aaka ("we", "us", "our"). By engaging our services or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
aaka designs and builds AI systems, web platforms, and mobile applications for clients. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and cost of any project will be agreed separately in a proposal, quote, or contract before work begins.
Strategy calls booked via our website (through Cal.com) are free and non-binding. Booking a call does not create a contractual obligation for either party.
To deliver projects effectively, we rely on clients to:
Pricing, payment schedules, and invoicing terms are set out in individual project agreements or quotes. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, deposits and milestone payments are non-refundable once work has commenced.
Unless otherwise agreed, ownership of final deliverables (code, designs, systems) transfers to the client upon full payment. aaka retains the right to reuse general methods, frameworks, and non-confidential know-how developed during a project for other clients.
We treat client information shared with us as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties except where required to deliver the project, comply with the law, or with the client's consent.
aaka will perform services with reasonable skill and care, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free systems. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
Either party may terminate an ongoing project per the terms agreed in the relevant project contract. Work completed and costs incurred up to the termination date remain payable.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
